You are taking a
step toward change.
Your inherent strengths can help with your current struggles. Working together, you will be empowered towards change, healing,
and wellness.
Reaching out to a therapist is often the hardest first step toward making real change. It’s completely normal to feel unsure or even scared—after all, talking openly about what we’re going through isn’t easy. But here’s the thing: once you get through that initial meeting, it usually feels like a weight has been lifted. More often than not, people walk away feeling relieved—and even looking forward to the next session. You’re not alone in feeling hesitant, and it’s okay to take your time. What matters is that you’re considering the step. That’s already something.
My goal will always be to collaborate with you and develop an overall positive change to your life and your future. That could be helping you become happy again, improving how you think and feel about yourself or learning how to develop and/or improve relationships. For some it may mean exploring ways to lead a more rewarding life, make healthier choices, to be empowered or to achieve your goals. For others it could be learning how to better cope with stress, alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety or help with identity development.
