I am originally from here in Austin and graduated from The University of Texas with a BA in Psychology. I did Masters work at the University of Houston at Clear Lake, obtained my PhD at Washington State University, and completed my training at the University of California at Davis. I am licensed by the state of Texas to practice clinical psychology and currently work at the Counseling and Mental Health Center at The University of Texas - Austin.

Clinical Experience
I have extensive experience working with clients coping with issues ranging from mild adjustment difficulties to chronic and severe symptoms. At WSU I worked at the university counseling center where I gained extensive training and clinical experience with individual, couples and group counseling, and worked with a diverse population of clients presenting with a wide array of concerns.
I finished my training and started my professional career as a therapist at the Counseling & Psychological Services at UC Davis. My time there further broadened my experience as a therapist as I continued to work with a multitude of different client populations and a range of issues. I then moved back home to Austin and started a similar position as a therapist at the University of Texas Counseling and Mental Health Center, as well as starting private practice.
While at UT, I’ve continued my previous work in areas of particular interest for me. For the last few years I’ve specialized in treating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and struggles with food as a member of the Eating Disorders Team. Previous to this I was an Integrated Health Counselor working on the medical floors and with medical providers.
Teaching Experience
I have taught college level courses in psychology and career counseling. I have conducted numerous presentations for professors and student organizations. I have also taught and supervised graduate students in their individual and group clinical training.
